There is something utterly dreamy about a tulle skirt. I hold a love for all things that remind me of a graceful ballet dancer. Funny, since I only took that one ballet class as a little girl and not more. But the art of ballet contains an almost dream like quality and if I can taste at least some of that dream owning a tulle skirt than so I will.

I think the fact that ballet came around in 1500 and we continue to see productions today performed so long ago adds to that mystical quality.
I felt like a heroine out of a story book twirling in my skirt reconnecting with my 7 year old self. A time of innocence and the belief in princess, princesses, and all manner of fairy tale creature still held strong. There are days when I wish I could once again dream as a 7 year old dreams without any of the worries that are thrust upon our shoulders when we reach adult hood.
There is a lovely blog by the author, Madeliene Rose, that holds all manner of dream like qualities. I encourage you to enjoy some of her writing especially her fashion post here. She creates a lovely magical world that reminds me very much of this tulle skirt.
