Ahh fall a time for pumpkins, apples, leaves, boots and of course scarves. Isn't wonderful how versatile scarves can be? I feel like my scarf collection continues to grow each year and when I saw this blanket scarf I knew I needed to add yet another item to the collection!

Not only does the scarf add depth to an outfit it also keeps one wonderfully warm in the cool fall weather. I can attest to this since a friend came into town this weekend and we spent time outside amongst the leaves.
We reminisced back to college by going to one of our favorite bars, McGurks. Walking through the door you feel like you walked into Ireland. Festive Irish decorations on the walls and a live band playing lively in the corner and if you are lucky you may hear a band from the the old country herself.
I usually help myself to some lovely cider (unfortunately Guinness is a little strong for my taste) but I decided to also try dessert. They call it Beggar's Purse and it was heavenly. I cut through the crisp flaky crust and found to my delight chocolate covered walnuts and cherries smoothly spilling into my spoon and quickly into my mouth.
