Yes, I am sitting in a hand.  It is really quite the most interesting sculpture with a man emerging from the ground.  

I am sure the artist meant to portray something very deep when they created it.  As I am no art critic I do not want to try to give my own take other than it makes for interesting photos and kids love to climb on it.

As it is past the major winter holidays this dress may work better for Christmas or New Year's but it seemed to fit the scenery since there is still snow on the ground.  But I am partial to anything with a little sparkle and this gold and black dress definitely makes a statement.
