"Pearls are always appropriate."  Jackie Kennedy could not have said it more perfectly.  There is something absolutely lovely about pearls.  They are on the top of my go to jewelry for almost any occasion.  They have this ability to take a not so pretty outfit and take it up a notch.

"Pearls are always appropriate."  Jackie Kennedy could not have said it more perfectly.  There is something absolutely enchanting about pearls.  They are on the top of my go to jewelry for almost any occasion.  These ocean jewels have this ability to take a not so pretty outfit and take it up a notch.

I found this top, a spur of the moment event, while on vacation in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina (a beautiful place and one I post about sometime).   We actually were waiting for a table and in the meantime I decided to try on some clothing.  I am so glad I did.  As you know if you have been reading my other posts I fall for anything with lace and this top was no exception.

I am sure you all know the rule of "no white after labor day," so I was a little hesitant to wear this outfit in the middle of October.  But Vogue it seems gave us it's blessing to go ahead and wear white this fall.   So I pushed away my doubts and posted this white on white outfit and I am so glad I did!
